Phew! Finally finished colouring this bugger! ^_^

Ok, a little bit of info for y'all. This was my first time actually using photoshop to a) sort out the lineart on my picture and b) colour my picture. So sorry if it's poo but I'm a learner

It's entitled "Another" and it's about the return of a long lost Uchiha - I know, the plot's been done to bits, but I wanted to try my capable hands at it.

This scene is from chapter........*thinks* *checks* Ten! Yush! It's when Sasuke has returned from his mission (along with Team 7) to "collect" (as such) the other surviving Uchiha and has brought her back to Konoha with him. Tsunade's orders, of course, are that he help to integrate her back into Konoha. The first thing she wants to do after being on the road for goodness knows how long is take a shower, so Sasuke goes to pick up some food and some clothes for her from the local market.

He returns as she's stepping out of the shower, and it's all embarassing for both of them. And Chiyo instantly worries that he'll perve on her (just like every other man in her life - you have to read to find out) but he looks right away and just hands her clothes to her. And she's very touched by that. Hence the happy (hopefully happy) expression on her face. And hence Sasuke's furious blushing.

So...yes! I did intend to make him look all wet from the rain, and her all wet from the shower, but I decided instead to make it look all steamy and cool. Hot shower, steam. You know. I was too lazy to attempt a background. So shoot me

The lyrics come from the song "Time after Time", originally by Cyndi Lauper but the version I sit and listen to for hours on end is by the gorgeous Eva Cassidy. I kinda felt it fitted well, as (as is discussed in the story! plug alert!) he has searched and gone through all sorts for her in order to "save" her, and without her really even trying, she has "saved" him too (as in he's now a protector not an avenger; protector because a certain evil brother is aware of Chiyo's existence).

"You say "Go slow", so I fall behind" is like referring to how they waited for each other, and will take care of each other if they are ever weak or can't keep up.

"The second hand unwinds" relates to how Sasuke and Chiyo, separately, believed they were entirely alone, but now time has proven them wrong, and so it's like time has been unwritten and yeah.

I think the other lyrics are fairly obvious. But I kinda think it's sweet how Sasuke is "catching" her ("if you fall I will catch you") by doing to simplest little thing for her, like running to the market in the rain for her. It's quite an adorable little romance

Um, ok. Artistic stuff. I drew it in pencil on white paper, scanned it into the wondrous photoshop, lineart done in photoshop, colouring done in photoshop, steam done in photoshop, text done in photoshop. Meh

Like I say, it's my first time don't kill me if there are crap bits!
